Cuttack, June 21(SSNews)In a vivid celebration of International Yoga Day, the tranquil campus of Sri Sri University was transformed into a grand confluence of calm, strength, and spiritual unity, as more than 1100 participants gathered for an inspiring event titled “Yog Sangam.” The celebration aligned with this year’s global theme “One Earth, One Health” emphasizing the deep interconnection between planetary well-being and individual health. Students, faculty, security forces, and special invitees performed ancient yogic postures in perfect unison, turning the university’s sprawling greens into a living expression of peace and harmony.
The event was graced by Swami Satya chaitanya, Director of Operations at Sri Sri University, who addressed the massive gathering with words that resonated deeply with the spirit of the day. “Yoga is not just a physical discipline,” he remarked. “It is an inward journey,a universal language of peace, balance, and health.” His message inspired participants from all walks of life to embrace yoga as a way of living, rather than merely an activity.

Organized in collaboration with the Ministry of AYUSH and the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, the event witnessed participation from a wide spectrum of institutions and organizations. Notable among them were 200 CISF jawans, 50 NDRF personnel, 100 students of Adarsha Vidyalaya under the guidance,100 students from Gurukul Arihant School, 50 trainees from the State Road and Transport Department also joined the session।

Sri Sri University did not merely observe International Yoga Day, it embodied its essence in breath, posture, and collective presence. The event served as a powerful reminder that in the rhythm of our breath lies the heartbeat of the planet, and in our stillness, the seeds of a healthier world are sown.
